Question The oven quit working on my Tappan gas stove series 110. The burners still work. I saw from a previous question that you answered on here that 98% of the problems is the ignitor switch on it. My dad said it was the thermocoupler, but to replace that part was very expensive, so I am ready to junk it, but I can't afford to buy a new stove either. Therefore, any advice you have to what may be wrong with it and how to repair it without being too overly expensive, please let me know. A quick response would be appreciated.
Answer The model number you have submitted to us is incomplete or not correct for your unit. In order for us to provide you accurate information and supply you with the correct manufactures part numbers , we will need the complete model number, serial number and batch or series numbers (if applicable) found on a business card size metal/foil plate.
