Graduated from Private Technical School in 1975.Presently an HVAC/Refrigeration Contractor. Have Unlimited Heating/Piping and Cooling Contractor License.Limited Sheetmetal Contractors License.NATE Certifield. York Certifield Heat Pumps in 1981. Served 33 years combination Active Duty Air Force ,
Air Force Reserves and Air National Guard in the HVAC/Refrigeration Shop.Starting as a Apprentice then Technician troubleshooting/installing HVAC/Refrigeration Equiptment Worldwide. Retiring in 2003 as a Mechanical Superintendent.

Question
i have a nordyne heating furnace and the blower motor continue to run in off position or auto the only way to turn of blower is to turn of circuit breaker to unit.need help.i have a nordyne furnace model e2e88 012ha

Martha,
you don't say how old unit is.One possibility is that the fan relay contacts point welded shut and keeping your blower running 24/7.they work on time .Time on time off ( TDR ) on wiring diagram.You would need to look at the wiring diagram and trace out the blower motor leads and pull the wire off the fan relay or you may have a control board that starts the fan. Hopefully that should stop your fan.If you have the old style fan control combo limit control which mounts on the panel and has a sensor that senses heat exchanger temps. your settings may be out of calibration and not shutting the fan off due to age. your wiring diagram will tell you volumes . If you feel your blower motor is turning at half speed ,then chances you have a grounded motor.Would need to ohm out motor and check to ground.All this sounds Greek to you ,and you don't have anyone who is electrically inclined ,recommend calling for service
