Expert: Marcus - Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Expert - 11/4/2009
Question hey hows it going,,, i have a live 220 line coming to my kitchen.. i put it in a junction box and would like to know if one could safely tap into it.. for one to go to an electric dryer.. and the other going to an electric range>>> so coming off the one line would be two splices to two separate appliances... if so it'll be one big wire nut... haha
Answer Derick,
No no no - It would be very hazardous . Both appliances require a separate circuit , both appliances pull a lot of amperage. If I had something like that in my house , I wouldn't be able to sleep at night because of the fire that is about to happen . Marcus http://www.my-air-conditioner.com
