Question What level of CO is acceptable in the airstream heating the living area?
Answer Good question, difficult answer. That's because everybody has different tolerence to CO. Thats why a cheap CO detector isn't good. When one triggers an audible you just know theres harmful CO. Not really. Just check out a CO detector that costs $7 to 800 compared to one that is $29.95 ! Now I really don't know what a norm amount of CO is. If you want to pursue, call the fire dept & let them check out the CO amount with their $800 model.
