Question For the second time my kids ahve put the sump pump line into the outside exhaust, leading water back into the furnace. The first time I drained the motor ans all was well. Now it will not heat. It cycles, but does not heat. I cannot see the pilot light (a Lennox Elite Series). The trouble light says 'Flame sensed without gas valve energized'.
Heeelp!!! Thanks!
Answer Nick, having water in the unit could have created a multitude of problems. The most likely culprit would the the controlling circuit board, but due to the cost of a board, you may be better off having a technician test every component on site to verify what all may be damaged. It may be a simple part, but as stated, it also could be multiple problems. Thanks J
