Question windy weather,so the gas furance and water heater went out. started the water heater,no problem. do not know how to start furance. no pilot light. my kids are getting cold...hurry
Answer How about 85 in Texas.Gas pilot lights are blown out by high winds bacck pressure down the flue pipe. The furnace starts up from a circuit board control if they are 10 years old or newer. The draft motor should run first, then a pressure switch closes, etc, etc. Does the draft motor run on a call for heat ???
