Question Our A/C works fine during the day(outside temperature reaches 100°+), but at night when the outside temp drops significantly, the A/C runs for about 10 minutes, stops for about 10 minutes, then comes on for about 10 minutes again and repeats all night. The thermostat is a mechanical one (that came with the house 15 years ago) and is set at 80° amd is not changed. There is also no traffic coming in or out of house at night. We're going crazy trying to figure out, so thank you in advance for your time and advice, even if this turns out to be a stumper!
