Question I have a Sears model 580.54701400 dehumidifier. The unit iced up badly for the first time. I shut it down and thawed it out. Now the fan motor will not run. The motor spins freely. The compressor starts.
Answer Check to see if the bucket is in place securely. If so check the switch that controls this.....
