Question I have not found a manual for this washer any where. The unit started to make a loud strange sound when washing and spinning, now it has totally quit agitating and spinning. There was also a strange burning rubber smell. Not sure how to get into the unit to see if belt needs changing or if there is a problem with bearings (if there are any)
Answer Belt is most likely.....Pull the unit away from the wall and then tilt is backwards. The belt is underneath the unit. Look for cracks or burn marks in the belt. See any?
