Heating, Air Conditioning, Fridge, HVAC - "dead" frigidaire dryer

Expert: Eric Campion - 6/8/2009

Question
Hello,
I am hoping you can help me with my dryer, it is a frigidaire model #NMER336FS0 - electric.  It just quit working in the middle of a run, when I found it the clothes were still warm but wet and neither the timer nor the interior light were working.  I of course checked the breaker box as well as jiggling and adjusting all the settings.  Still nothing.  I would be inclined to say fuse (limit switch?) except - after a few days I happened to open the door and to my surprise the light came on.  Then a few minutes into a cycle it quit again never rise again.  Help.

Answer
Remove the cover where the dryer cord attaches to and shine a flashlight in there....  Look for a burnt connection.  If none there, check your wall outlet for a burnt connection......

Waiting to hear from you,
Eric Campion
