Question
I have an HVAC degree and i am pretty decent with troubling shooting until it comes to double wides or mobile homes airhandlers with electric heat strips i do not know how to wire one up or let alone go behind anybodies wiring and no one will help me get better is there some books i can read and i am scared to get a job because of my poor wiring skills what do u suggest because i have seen some people take all the wire out of one and rewire it and if you could point me in the right direction of doing that and do you know of any heating and air companies that are hiring in or near north carolina

Answer
Electrical skills in this A/c business determines whether you are good or not. I worked with a guy that could do as you said, pull all the wires out & redo. Found out working with him he was gifted with a photographic memory !!!
You need to find a manual on electrical trouble shooting & study hard. There are several basic tenets of electrical circuits you are missing it seems. like P = IE   or E = IR  or a closed switch with power reads zer0 on a meter. Tou GOT to have those basic elements imbedded to trouble shoot. Circuits like you mentioned are wired one circuit at a time to create a vast circuit of a mess of wires. And thats the way you disgnose circuits, one at a time.I'm in Texas, can't help with jobs.
