Question
I have a Tappan refridgerator Model # TRT17NRBWO that is at least 10 yrs old. About once a week I have to pull it out and empty a quart of water that has drained off from the small black hose in back. If I don't, it will run over & wreck the floor. Is this normal? What can be done?
Thanks for your time.

Answer
Most often there is enough heat there to evaporate the water.  Is there a fan back there not running?  What are the temperatures in the freezer and fresh food section respectively?  An unblacanced sealed system could possibly cause this problem also.

Waiting to hear from you,
Eric Campion
