Heating, Air Conditioning, Fridge, HVAC - Kenmore Ultra Bake Circuit Board

Expert: Eric Campion - 7/14/2009

Question
Have a Kenmore Ultra Bake Electronic Range.  Model number
665.92142300, Serial number RP3810423.  Circuit Board model
number is KYX06B7B, could be KYXO6B7B with a zero instead of
an O but I am not sure.  The broiler unit stopped working.
Upon taking out the circuit board I discovered that the
point on the circuit board for the broiler unit was burned.
I soldered the burned point on the circut board and when
putting it back in, everything worked......but the display.
All I can think of is that somehow i bent it a little and
made a hairline crack somewhere on the board.  causing the
display to stop functioning.  I have been trying to find a
replacement circuit board but have been un-successful.  Even
if it is used, I do not care.  I would much rather find one
used and fairly in-expensive than buy a new stove.  New
circuit boards for these type of Ranges can be $300 I have
been told.  I am not looking at spending that much.  All I
want is a place where I can get one.  Preferably wholesales
but I am not hoping.
