Question
Hello Mr.Timborn, i have a question for you....I noticed a leak in my ceiling right where our attic A/C unit is located. Area got pretty soaked to where i had to remove a nice 2x3' section of ceiling due to insulation being soaked.
Here's what i see....

Drip pain under a/c part was rusted to hell...

2 x 1" what look to be drain's... One is coming directly from the A/C box and the other from the drain pan underneath...

Both sections of pipe meet at a section where the air intake vent is and heads down and under the house (raised house). What i see is that water that i assume would pool in the drain pan under the A/C portion and evaporate off is a constant stream. I put a 40g rubbermaid to catch drip and overnight it's filled 2/3'rds already...

Not sure if its a clog in those pipes, should that much water be back filling into the drain pan?

Thx,
 Joe W

Answer
If its backing up into the drain pan and the drain pan is overflowing it is most likely a plugged drain line. If you can get to the termination under the house you could try using a wet shop vac to suck the drain line clear. If you can't get to the termination and the drain line is pvc , you could cut the main line after the 2 branches meet and try blowing it out with pressure. All you would need to put the drain line back together would be a pvc coupling and glue.
