Question
I live in Tucson, Az. in a single wide MH. I have a nordyne e2eb-015ha 4 ton downflow unit and I'm getting water all over under the A coil. on the blower, in the electronics, so much it is ruining the floor. The coil is clean, new filter, drain line is clear... the condensation seems to be comming from the underside of the A coil. I have had some hvac training so this is really irritating me. can u help?

Answer
Kevin,
I assume your "A" coil is on top of the unit as opposed to the bottom of the unit?
The condensation from the coil should all drip into drip pan that is directly under the "A" coil fin's, If your drip pan which is fairly shallow isn't at least level both ways or sloped a bit towards the drain it can easily overflow.
If the drip pan has gunk in it, it can obstruct the flow of water.
If there is a foreign object stuck to the coil fins the water can trail off past the drip pan. If the air flow isn't sufficient the coil can freeze past the drip pans ability to catch the drippings.
