Question is there a stop leak solution to add to my central air unit to stop the leak?
Answer I have not seen a product that will not eventuallly affect the compressor. The leak is usually at a joint of some type. Take a liquid soap, Joy dish detergent works well as it foams easily and apply it to every joint, either a solder or mechanical joint such as a brass nut fitting and try to locate the leak. Sometimes it is as simple as tightening a nut or replacing a leaking service schrader. Once it is located, if it is a solder joint, at least you can show it to a technician to have it rebrazed.
