Question
Hello Eric! I have a whirplpool bottom freezer single door fridge.Model # EB9FVHRWS01,I have ice buildup on the bottom of the freezer.I assume the drain is plugged when it defrosts the water has nowhere to go.I have the bottom cover off the back. What do I need to do to get to the problem? Thanks Mark

Answer
Not an easy task.  Bottom line is you must remove the drawer and the baskets and then remove the rear inside panel to gain access to the evaporator panel and remove it.  This will allow you to defrost the ice in the evaporator drain pan and you will then see the drain line hole.  This hole must be defrosted as well to allow water to flow into the drain pan underneath the unit.  Good Luck, Eric
