Heating, Air Conditioning, Fridge, HVAC/Airlock in ice makers waterline

I have a GE side by side refrigerator with an ice maker and water dispenser. The model number is:  BSS25JSRF SS  The water line seems to have an airlock. The cylinoid(s) is good and the ice maker is functioning properly. Any suggestions on how to remove the airlock?

Rather than an airlock, I thing you may have a frozen water line either in the lower portion of your refrigerator (behind the crisper pans) or in the freezer door itself.  To determine which on is froze, there is a water connection at the bottom of the freezer door.  Disconnect this connection and then lay the tubing coming from underneath the unit on a towel.  With the freezer door shut, press the button for water.  Did water come out of this hose?

Waiting to hear from you,
