Heating, Air Conditioning, Fridge, HVAC/GE refrigerator icemaker

QUESTION: Apparently my thread to you has been deleted.  My GE icemaker has quit working, fridge model # is TFX25QRCBWW.  I ohmed out the solenoid for the icemaker inlet valve as you instructed, 2.6 ohms.  What to do now?

Thank you for your time

ANSWER: Reach into the ice maker mold and tell me if there is any water in there right now.  If not, using a turkey baster or some like that, fill the ice maker mold.  Be careful not to overfil it.  Walk away for a few hours and then tell me if the ice dropped.

QUESTION: There was no ice in the mold.  I filled the mold as instructed, and a day later, the ice has not dropped.

You can either have your older ice maker repaired or replace it with the newer electronic ice maker part number WR30X10093.  Cost through us is 129.95.  Before replacing however, verify you have 110 volts and the receptacle where your ice maker plugs into.  If you have voltage, the ice cubes should have harvested.
