Question
My Carrier weathermaker 58sx060 has leaks coming from the inducer motor and collector box which has gotten the circuit board wet. Can these leaks be sealed or do the parts need to be replaced?  Also will the circuit board drying out help it or is that beyond repair?

Answer
Kerri,

You can try high temperature RTV  cement ,sealing around the leaks. Usually circuit boards are OK if they are exposed to a little dampness. mean time let board dry out and add deflector or cover board so the power vector assembly is not spraying on it.
