Heating, Air Conditioning, Fridge, HVAC/Refrigerator Ice Maker

I have a GE side by side with ice and water. Woke up one morning and the water to the icemaker had kept running. I replaced the ice maker unit but when I turned the frig back on the water continued to run so I replaced the dual water valve. Now I have water but nothing running to the ice maker. Any ideas.

Try replacing the new ice maker with your old ice maker.  See if the unit works then.  Also, something you can try, remove the water line going to the ice maker from the water valve and at the water valve end, blow through it.  You should be able to blow through it right into the ice maker funnel.  If not, there is an ice blockage most likely at the point where the water line enters the fill spout.  Check this if you cannot blow through it.....
