Heating, Air Conditioning, Fridge, HVAC/air conditioning unit

I can only get the air to come on by pressing the
Contactor in the unit is just air its in a mobile home
It has a seperate furnace and there is a thermostat
For each one

If you have to press the contactor in manually and the compressor along with the outdoor fan come on, chances a safety control tripped, such as a high pressure switch ( some high pressure refrigerant controls are manual resettable, if your system has a manual resettable high pressure ) or possible is your low pressure refrigerant control opened due to a lack of refrigerant in your system. The low pressure switch typically are automatic resettable. Again if your system has a LPC. You can bypass the thermostat by jumping the R terminal at the t-stat to Y to G , when you tie these three wire together your blower fan and the compressor and outdoor fan should come on, if they do and it cools your house ,chances are you have a bad t-stat ,if the outdoor unit does not come on ( talking a two piece system ) the chances it's the LPC or possible the HPC. Look at the wiring diagram to see what control is in series with the contractor. When was the last time you had a Preventive Maintaince check on your A/C ?
