Heating, Air Conditioning, Fridge, HVAC/A/C blower motor

Hi Joe, Started having a loud vibration coming from the blower motor of our Central Air. Its a 4 speed blower P/N 982993 Nordyne. Looking it over to see if any mounts or brackets are loose. Any suggestions? The system is nearly 15 years old.
Thanks so much!

Your blower wheel may have picked up a piece of debris  ( especially if you have fiberglass ductwork, a piece may have ripped off and lodged on the wheel, )  some blower wheels are difficult to see both sides. You also may have thrown the balancing weight on the blower wheel. Certainly check the mounts and the harness that holds the motor . Check the play on the motor shaft horizontally and vertically. You also may have blockage ( splitter damper broke and is partially closed etc. ) in your duct or dirty indoor coil that may affect your static pressure
