Question
I recently had an in and out side 410a 4 ton ac installed. No flushing was done and original copper lines were used going upstairs to the inside unit. Has the damage from not flushing the old r22 out already been done or can the system be flushed and the 410a be recharged?

Answer
If the previous system was a burnout, you should flush the system, install a liquid line drier(used specifically for burnouts), pressure test the system, pull a deep vacuum  and you should be good to go.

If not a burnout, you should only have to pull a deep vacuum.
