this is an olderpost but no one anwered it properly, so I will

the culprit is the main switch, the one on the right. it consist,s of a small board with two female  plugs and the selector post. remove the small nut holding it to the frame, when you replace it with the new one, make sure the small black switch near the bottom is on cycle not constant or your fan will run constantly.
