Question
I'm installing an aprilaire 400 humidifier in our furnace. The return and supply plenums are made from ownens corning fiberglass air duct. No sheet metal. what is the best way to attach the humidifier to this stuff?

I don't know exactly where on your duct work you want to install the humidifier but I think I would glue a piece of 26 gage sheet metal to the outside of the fiberglass and attach the humidifier to the metal.
A couple of strap hangers from above to the sheet metal or the humidifier might be a good idea.
