Question
I PLAY IN AN ORIGINAL METAL BAND CALLED SHOVEL FIT WE HAVE BEEN
TOGETHER FOR A YEAR NOW IT'S BEEN ALOT OF WORK AND WE'VE GOT SOME
GREAT MATERIAL, I JUST WONDER IF THERES A NITCH FOR A BAND LIKE US
IT'S MORE LIKE GROOVE METAL NOT ALL SCREAMING BUT SOME PRETTY
INTENSE PARTS. I DON'T KNOW MOST OF THE BANDS I HEAR SUCK I'D RATHER
NOT PLAY THAN WASTE MY VOCAL ABILITY DUMBING DOWN TO WHAT I HEAR
USUALLY.
WE'RE ACTUALLY CONSIDERING MAKING A OZZY TRIBUTE BAND AT LEAST
THAT WAY WE CAN PLAY SONGS WITH REAL SINGING AND PLAYING WHAT DO
YOU THINK?

Answer
I have to agree with your opinion on your band. My opinion would be to do what you got to do. Making a tribute band to Ozzy would be a great start and with real singing and playing like you mentioned above. So go for it and let me know how it goes along.
