What is the Hebrew for "I spent half the day there", and also "Half of us are Jewish", please?

"I spent half the day there" is "Biliti sham khatzi yom",
ביליתי שם חצי יום

"Half of us are Jewish" is "Makhtzitenu yehudim", מחציתנו יהודים
