Hello,

I would like to know how to say my sons english names in hebrew for his bris. His name is Tyler Henry.

Also, is it custom to name your childs hebrew name after a desceased relative or is it okay to kepp it after a living relative?

If you are asking about a Hebrew name for your son, is there anyone in particular you want to name him after?

In the Sephardic tradition it is OK to name a child after a living relative, but in the Ashkenazi tradition it is not.
