Question
Hello,
I am trying to figure out some Biblical translation os Hebrew words. I
believe the word for "God's grace" meaning grace of love and giving is the
word "chen." Is this correct? How do you write this in Hebrew?

Answer
Hannah,

As you may know, the Christian understanding of what is meant by 'God's Grace' is very different from the Jewish meaning, and it takes a 3-noun phrase in Hebrew to convey the meaning of this one word (Grace). The Hebrew phrase is 'Chen, Chessed & Rachamim' (Grace, Benevolence & Mercy). Chen is חן, while Rachamim is רחמים.
