Question
אתה תלמיד חכם וחרוץ

What does this Hebrew phrase mean with the word Metzooyan in the front? How should I respond to this in Hebrew?

Thanks

Answer
Michael,

"Metzooyan" is a grade, equivalent to A+.  The Hebrew sentence following it is an evaluation: "You are a smart, hard-working student". You can reply with "Todah rabbah" (Thank you), written in Hebrew as תודה רבה

Best,

Gaddy
