Hebrew Language/Ancient Hebrew
Is there a word or phrase in ancient Hebrew that means or relates to "before creation?"
Because the Hebrew Bible (OT) start with the creation, there is no word or phrase that exactly means "before creation".
The OT begins with a description of the creation story. The Book of Genesis is called בראשית (beh-reh-sheet) in Hebrew. This literally means "in the beginning", or "firstly", but it is used in the Book to describe the first moment of the creation and therefore somehow refers to "before creation".
