Question I have had a hedgehog before, someone gave him to me, and he was the best pet I have ever had! I wanted to get another one, since mine died along time ago, but since by birthday passed I have a lot of money to get whatever I want, and I want a hedgehog. Where could I get one? I live in Northfield Ohio, 44067. And how much are they? I also would like to know what is their favorite food? What types of toys do they like? And how do you breed them?-wondering, because I thought of getting two.
Answer You can get them from a breeder or pet store. A hedgehog should cost around $80-150. It is best to feed a low fat premium adult cat food and a tablespoon or two of a hedgehog treat food, and an occasional meal worm. They like balls.
I wouldn't bother trying to breed as it is very difficult, costly, and you can't sell or give away a hedgehog without a license.
