Help with College & Grad School Applications/Graduate Admissions

Question
Hello, I have been checking my admissions status online. If a graduate school declined an applicant would they post that online or would they notify them by postal mail? Are accepted students notified of their acceptance online?
Thanks

Answer
Hi.

It depends on the school.  It is probably ok to send an email to the admissions office and ask them what their procedure is for letting people know of either acceptance or rejection and when you might expect to find out.

Hope that helps.  If you do not get accepted, please get back in touch with me and we can talk about what you can do to ensure that you are accepted next time.
