AboutMGR Expertise I try to work with students to look at their goals, academic history, SAT or GRE scores, extracurricular activities, etc.... I then try to help these students figure out where they stand in order to best achieve their goals. At times, I am able to suggest specific schools a student may be interested in.
I am unable to tell students whether or not they will obtain admission to a specific college, however, I am able to provide general guidance.
While I will provide general college / graduate school essay topic advice, I will not provide any editing assistance.
Experience I have been an SAT I, AP Biology, and writing tutor for the past eight years. I have provided college advice and essay editing for many of my former students, and have served on the alum interviewing committee for my alma matter (an ivy league school).
Education/Credentials BA - Environmental Biology
MSEd - In Progress

Question Hello,
I have a question about graduate school programs. I am very weak in math, but would like to study something like public administration; basically, I want a graduate degree in something practical and that can be used in the government sector to assist people. I am interested in societal problems and governmental problems and how to solve them. Is there a graduate program for me out there?
Thank you very much for your time.
Answer Hi Bill,
There are many graduate school programs in both public policy as well as international affairs. I am unsure exactly what you are interested in, but general public policy degrees often get people into entry level government jobs - often ones where they rotate into different areas of government. Form there, you can specialize. You can also choose to specialize once you have done a bit more grad work
