Help with College & Grad School Applications/Applying to grad school in US with a Swedish degree

Question
Hi Jay,

My wife is moving to the United States from Sweden and she will be completing her BS equivalent degree in Psychology.  She wants to work on her masters degree in the US so she's looking at schools to apply to.  Do you know any good people or sources of information on how to transfer degrees into the US system to apply for grad school.  Thanks!

Answer
Hi, Ryan.

Sounds like you are saying she will complete her degree in Sweden.  Most schools here are set up to deal with foreign students and should have a process in place for evaluating her degree.  I don't believe she needs to do anything specific to formally transfer the degree.  Probably she'll just need to provide an official transcript.
