Help with College & Grad School Applications - where in the world do i start

Expert: Elena U. Rodríguez - 11/8/2006

Question
Yes, first of all hello,I am an 18 year old female currently attending an online high school in order to receive my  diploma. I am definitely interested in attending my hometown college, but I have no idea where to start. I have an idea of what i would like to pursue as a major, but where do I begin? Sat's, you know "what's that!"I have no clue. Could you please just give me list of things I should do and will need to begin this very significant journey. Please, I really have no one else to turn to. If you could it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, Sasha.

Answer
I would start by contacting your hometown's college admissions department to learn what requirements you would have to complete to get in because some colleges require that you take certain courses.

Contact their admissions department and they should set you along the right path.

Also... I would recommend you explore these websites to learn more about the college admissions process:

Best of luck!
