Dear Dr. Kulkarni

Is Forensic Science available as a specialization subject in Doctor of Medicine (MD) similar to Cardiology, Gynecology, Pathology, Veterinary, Neurology, Ophthalmology etc specialization subjects ?

i.e. MD - Forensic Science.

Awaiting your reply,

Thanks & Regards,
Prashant S Akerkar

Hello Prashant,
Warm welcome to you!
First of all are you a doctor or doing MBBS or planning to do MBBS?

Then after MBBS you can do MD in Forensic Medicine and not in Forensic Science / Lab. Forensic Medicine is pretty much different than Forensic Science. Forensic Medicie is a small branch of Forensic Science. So try understand the difference. For becoming forensic sciece expert you need to do B.Sc, M.Sc you can there choose toxicology, ballistics etc.

I hope I have cleared your doubt.

Take care . Have a great day. Bye.
