Hemingway, Ernest - Hemingway cats

Expert: Josh Silverstein - 8/18/2006

Question
I recently heard that none of the cats in Key West are actual descendants of Snowball - Hemingways polydactyl cat.  Is this true?  The Hemingway House Museum in Key West claims (of course) at least some of them are descendants.  What is the truth?  Was Snowball only in Cuba?  Please help.  Thanks -C
