Subject: uk release of ELECTRIC LADYLAND part2

Question
i bought this album in the uk in 73 . upon playing i felt it was a different mix .
more bluesy . the song  >> come on  << sounds much more drum bass blues
like .
? so did polydor release a separate mix for the uk market ??

Answer
Hi Bruce,
there was not a second stereo remix of "Ladyland". Perhaps you are confronted with different pressings simply, which can affect the sound. The quality of the vinyl is important. For example, in the UK, they would often use recycled vinyl whereas American pressings remained pure.
