Question
I did a long report on Jimi Hendrix (this was a huge feat for me because at the time I was only 10 years old(I'm 12 now)) and there is one thing I never found out.  I had heard that Jimi played the guitar backwards because he was left handed and didn't know any better. Is this true?

Answer
Hi Maxx,

Jimi was, like Paul McCartney, simply a left handed guitar player. He played guitars upside down because right handed guitars were obviously very easily available. He once even commentated that left handed Fender Stratocasters wee inferior in quality to the regular right hand models.
Curiously, Jimi was aright handed writer !
