Herbs For Weight Loss

To help control diabetes and start you on a weight loss program I would use a formula developed by Rene’ Caisse back in the 1920's called Essiac, which is Caisse spelled backwards.

It is made up of four herbs that cleanse the blood, detoxify the liver and soothe irritations and inflammations.

It is made up of Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel, Slippery Elm Bark and Turkey Rhubarb. I would also add Dandelion Root to this to aid the gall bladder and kidneys.

Four Herb tea can be purchased at health food stores. I order mine through www.herbalhealer.com. They use all organic materials and it is much less expensive than the Essiac Brand.

There have been many testimonials of this products benefits in reducing weight and blood sugar levels. But remember, the only way a body losses weight is by taking in fewer calories than it burns.
Here are my favorite herbs for weight loss.

Alfalfa, corn silk, dandelion, and parsley can be drank in tea form for their diuretic properties.

Fennel removes mucus and fat from the intestinal tract, and is a natural appetite suppressant.

Fenugreek is good for dissolving fat in the liver.
Eat a balanced diet of grains, veggies and fruits. The DASH diet is the only one scientifically proven to be effective.
Get plenty of rest and exercise.

Best wishes,
Dennis
