Answer Hi Sadie,
Sounds like you are off on a wonderful adventure. Interesting question.
Due to the logistics, I'm not sure what will be available to you.
First, make sure you have a large supply of distilled water. Drink this often, add lemon and cayenne pepper to it. This will help flush out toxins.
Eliminate all meat. Eat only fresh fruits and vegetables. Make sure to eat a high fiber diet. This is important in ridding the body of toxins by keeping the colon clean.
I recommend a green supplement to help in cleansing and tonifying the bowel. Wheatgrass, Chlorella or spirulina are great choices.
Herbs to help detoxification are milk thistle, a mighty liver herb and antioxidant, alfalfa, contains vitamin K for intestinal flora, burdock root and red clover for cleansing the blood, dandelion root for the liver and kidneys, slippery elm tea for inflammation of the colon.
I would also take garlic daily, this is a great natural antibiotic and cleanser.
Avoid all sugar, sodas, alcohol, processed foods, and caffeine.
Drink herbal teas. Green tea is a great antioxidant. Or, make teas from the above-mentioned herbs.
As I said earlier, I'm not sure what you'll find. Keep hydrated and get plenty of rest to go with all that exercise.
I've visited the island of Penang, spent a week there some years back.
