Question Dennis
What do you think of cayenne?
Is supposed to warm you up and aid in weight loss.
I am always cold, particularly my hands and feet.
I also have a hard time losing weight.
I have had my thyroid checked but its OK.
I have hypertension for which I am taking medication.
Some websites say it is good for hypertension some say to avoid it.
I do get heartburn so I am concerned about that.
It comes in various strengths but I see there is one by Natures Way called 'capsicool' that is weaker buffered with ginger and glucomannan.
Thanks!
Answer Hi Baruch,
1) I rate cayenne among my top ten herbs. It aids digestion, improves circulation, and stops ulcers from bleeding. Acts as a catalyst for other herbs. Good for the heart, kineys, lungs, pancreas, spleen, and stomach.
The buffered formula with ginger and glucomannan is worth a try.
Cinnamon relieves diarrhea and nausea; counteracts congestion; aids in the peripheral circulation of the blood. Warms the body and enhances digestion, especially the metabolism of fats. Useful for digestion and weight loss.
For a tasty and soothing drink, mix 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon with one tablespoon of honey. Add boiling water, mix well, and drink a cup in the morning and evening.
There are many disorders associated with circulatory problems. It may be brought on by chronic inflammation of the blood vessels in the extremities and can be most prevalent among people who smoke.

Cold, stress, smoking, and other factors may cause fingers and toes to become numb and this most commonly affects women.
