Question hi-i just read a post answered by you about blood count posted in 2006.I currently had more blood drawn to check for illnesses-inflamation.the docs say some herbs can cause low white count.i can only find info on herbs that help blood cell production.any ideas what they are? dr couldnt give me a list.
Answer Hi Sandy,
I went through my herb data base, and can not find one herb that would lower white cell count. What herbs are you taking?
dr couldn't give me a list. Because, there is none.
A lot of doctors are:
1). Unaware of the safe efficacy of herbs. 2). Invest their money in synthetic drugs derived from studying herbs. 3). Not well-versed in allowing the body to heal itself.
A low white blood cell count, or leukopenia, is a decrease in disease-fighting cells (leukocytes) circulating in your blood.
The benchmark for a low white blood cell count may vary slightly among medical practices. A low white blood cell count in adults is generally defined as fewer than 3,500 white blood cells per microliter of blood. A low white blood cell count in children varies with age and sex.
A lot of medical practices lower WBC count. From chemo to radiation, etc.
There are many herbs that will contribute to a healthy blood count level.
