Answer
Hi Aysha,

My. Your mother has a lot on her plate.

Recognized the world over as the most promising of the microalgae, spirulina is an immediate food source.

It contains concentrations of nutrients unlike any other single grain, herb, or plant. If contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), linolenic and arachidonic acids, vitamin B12, iron, a high level of protein, essential amino acids RNA and DNA, chlorophyll, and phycocyanin, a blue pigment that is only found in blue-green algae and that has increased the survival rate of mice with liver cancer in lab experiments.

It is a naturally digestible food that aids in protecting the immune system, in cholesterol reduction, and in mineral absorption.

It supplies the nutrients needed to help cleanse and heal.

Hepatitis C is an inflammation of the liver, which caused by a virus.

How long have you been diagnosed with Hepatitis C? What is your age? Weight? General health? I am reluctant to give you an amount but you certainly can drink 'green drinks'-and also beet juice in large amounts. Your body should let you know if you over do it.

Take a Free form amino acid complex. As directed on label.
This will also supply necessary protein, and as the liver breaks protein down, the free-form is less of a strain.

Take 200 to 400 mg of Milk Thistle. This contains a flavonoid known as silymarin, which aids in healing and rebuilding the liver.

Burdock and Dandelion root are important in cleansing the liver and the bloodstream. Drink a cup of tea of each daily.

Green tea and Clover tea are also beneficial for hepatitis. Also black radish and yellow dock have been used with success.

Schisandra and chicory are also used.

Eat a raw vegetable and fruit diet for two to four weeks. This is a safe cleansing. Include artichokes in your diet.

Drink purified water only. Consume no alcohol. Avoid all fats, sugars, and highly processed foods.

Get plenty of bed rest.

First, let's begin with eye health.

Like all other parts of the body, the eyes need to be nourished properly. In order to promote healthy eyesight, you must make sure your diet contains the proper amounts of B vitamins; vitamins A, C and E.  The minerals selenium and zinc. Fresh fruits and vegetables are good sources for these vitamins and minerals. Especially yellow and orange foods such as carrots, yams, and cantaloupes.

Bilberry extracts and/or blueberries are beneficial for the eyes.

Eyebright is also good. It can be taken orally in capsule or tea form.

Eyebright tea can also be used as an eyewash.

Eliminate sugar and white flour from your diet.

The best way to maintain your health is by getting proper rest, eating healthy, and getting daily exercise.

Try to keep to a routine where you establish patterns for sleeping, eating and recreation. Be consistent.

Add grains, seeds, and nuts to your diet. Eat less red meat and more fish.

Avoid energy-robbers like sugar, alcohol, fats, caffeine, white flour products, and highly processed foods.

Use Spirulina, an excellent protein source. To relax before sleep drink an herbal tea. Passionflower, valerian, or catnip teas will promote relaxation that will promote restful sleep.

Rose hips will supply much needed vitamin C.

That is enough for one session. As you can see, a lot of the treatment will duplicate itself. Let me know how her progress is in a month or so.

Best to you and your Mom.
