ANSWER: Hi Glenda,
As you know, there is no silver bullets to stop the aging process, give your body the correct fuel, plus proper exercise and rest are key to a healthy life.
NUTRIENTS
Coenzyme Q10---100 mg daily---Aids circulation, improves cellular oxygenation, and protects the heart.
Amino acid complex---As directed on label.---As we age, our body needs to be supplemented with these important nutrients.
Omega-3 essential fatty acids,---As directed on label, 3 times a day.---Plays an important role in cell formation; essential for proper brain function; protects the heart and helps to keep plaque from sticking to the arteries.
Check with your doctor to see how your mineral levels are doing. As we age, we lack certain essential minerals.

QUESTION: Okay, how do you relax? That is something I try to do but do not know how to let things go or over look something.
Answer Hi Glenda,
Okay. Here's what I do. Thirty years ago I made myself a Worry Box. Use an old shoe box, put a slot in the cover. You're all set.
First, write down what's troubling you. Decide if you can solve it yourself. Then write down the steps you must do to resolve it. Next, write down the thing that worries you most, and if you decide it is out of your control, put it in the worry box. Let the box worry for you. Forget about it for three-six months. Check it out. You will most likely laugh about it and wonder why you bothered to worry.
Next, don't forget the teas I mentioned. Relaxing is a learned behavior. Concentrate on living worry free, mediate in a calming environment.

A Bag To Smell Unto, or To Cause One to Sleep
Take dried Rose leaves, keep them close in a glasse which will keep them sweet, then take powder of Mints, powder of Cloves in a gross powder. Put the same ro the Rose leaves, then put all these in a bag, and take that to bed with you, and it will cause you to sleepe, and it is good to smell unto at other times.
---from Ram's Little Dodoen, 1606
I found this delightful recipe in an old herbal, added Rosemary "to keep away evil spirits," my wife sewed the herbs into an embroidered pillow, and now she sleeps on it whenever she has trouble sleeping. She says it works.
Add other herbs whose scent you like.
I use a Clover-Dandelion tea. This is a gentle sedative I drink each night and it helps me to sleep. Infuse 1 T. of Red Clover and 1 T. dandelion leaves in a cup of boiling water for five minutes. Strain and drink. It relaxes my organs.
There you go. Try these herbs, mix and match and learn what works for you. Your body will thank you.
