Question

You're probably going to have a field day w/this multivitamin....... It's a generic brand called Equate, distributed by Wyeth Holdings Corporation- owner of the trademark Centrum.....

Question -
I am a 24 yr. old female, normal weight for my height and i jog about 4 miles 4x/week. I take a multivitamin every other day. I notice that when i take the multivitamin it makes my stool very hard and nearly 2 days to have a regular movement. I asked someone on here before about that and they recomended an organic liquid multivitamin because they said that the multivitamin pills have a lot of extra junk in them which causes that irregular bowel movement. Well, i tried the organic (expensive) route and it causes the same thing. So, i guess i either have to not take a multivitamin and deal w/the hard stool, or take it w/a laxative. So that's why i write you for recomendations. Also, i have a problem w/extreme fatigue after i eat lunch at work. I eat pretty healthy and i can't put my finger on the problem- so i end up consuming A LOT of caffeine to get moving again. And most times after my lunch, i'll go and do my situps and lift dumbbells, so it's not like i'm not getting enough activity. I'm pretty frustrated and some recomendations on both of these issues would be GREATLY appreciated!

Dear Darcie...

Your concerns are very Genuine, as many suffer from the same problem.

I have gone through your symptoms and i understand what is causing these.  The main problem here, is a lack of enough Intestinal Flora being produced.  I mean even I had this problem years ago.

The Fatigue is caused due to a digestive failure and a weak immune system.  The food is not being broken down properly nor being absorbed properly, to deliver nutrients to you bodily system And Immune System.  The Immune System also benefits somewhat from food nutrients.

The Other advisor who told you to take a Liquid Vitamin Formula was on the right Track. But tell me, how is your body supposed to break down and absorb this properly when there is no fiber in the formula, and you are already low on Natural Intestinal Flora?!  Well, it does make it difficult on the body.

So we have to look at the problem at the Cause Always...
not give you this and that and say you will be fine, because this and that does not always work.  You need the Correct supplements to begin with.

I am glad you exercise - and jog that much, and i hope you are getting enough sleep every night also, that too is important.

It is True that the Normal Multi Vitamins are Bad for our health, simply because of the Sources they come from. This is anther reason they are Cheaper.

B-12 was being Extracted from Sewer Sludge.  I know, this sounds really bad, but these ignorant people Consider this an 'Organic' Substance. Yes, it is organic, But it is TOXIC!  I mean do these manufacturers have any brains i wonder.

I had contacted a few Vitamin Companies last year and asked them what sources they used for their vitamins - Most did not reply, and the few that did were Reluctant to tell me - what i got for Zinc, was Mineral Ore... and Vitamin D from Lanolin, and Vitamin A from Boiling Acetone, or From Toxic Fish Livers.  If their sources were healthy and good, they would have had no problem telling me.

So these so called 'organic' substances are available in abundance, therefore the Vitamin is Cheap overall.  But it is Toxic to our Health. It is doing more damage than good.

So that is why Natural Vitamins are recommended. And i know of some very good ones.  Natural means they take the Plant that Contains the Particular Vitamin, Grind it into Powder form, and that then is your TRUE VITAMIN, as it contains plant Fiber and Protein, and the specific vitamin inherent to it.  So to have a natural multivitamin, the herbalist must grind several Organic plants, from land and sea, and put them all together. And That is it, no additives, no preservatives, no Synthetic chemicals.  This is best for the body.

Now to solve your problem, my advice is to simply Replenish your Intestinal Flora and to Feed and Strengthen your Immune System.  That will solve it all.

The Products you will need are "Digestive Enzymes & Probiotics" and "Transfer Factor-Classic". The Digestive enzymes  are to be taken as 1 Soft Tablet before every meal. So about 5-10 minutes before.

This will help your bowels Properly break down and Digest Food, and that will Prevent Constipation.  If you take your Current Vitamin Formula in the morning, then please make sure the Digestive Enzyme is taken Before this, so before Breakfast.  Take this enzyme 3 times a day.

The Transfer Factor i have advised is the Simplest and least expensive version available - and i advise this not because it is less expensive, But Because it is Pure and Simple, and very effective. And i prefer all that is Simple. This product and its family, are the Safest and Most Advanced Immune System products in the world.  I also use it myself.  It has done Much Good for my own health. It will Enhance and awaken the Natural Healing Capabilities of your immune system. This then will get rid of the Fatigue you feel after eating.

You may take the Transfer Factor at the same time you take the Digestive Enzymes.  You will also notice an Increase in endurance and stamina, as a result of a stronger immune system.

You will not need laxatives anymore.  Also please cut down on Coffee, it is hard on the Kidneys.  I must also mention here that if you cook with Canola oil, please stop, as it causes lesions and respiratory problems. Also, avoid Soy Bean Oil, as it causes Thyroid Dysfunctions.  You probably don't use Margarine, but if you do, Please Switch to Butter instead.  Much healthier for your arteries.

Lastly, if you do not mind, send me the name or web site of the Vitamin you are currently using, so i may examine the Ingredients.

I buy the Transfer Factor and Enzymes from here:     www.trinity.my4life.com

This particular site is a No-Profit site, so all the products are set at the Wholesale price rather than Retail.

I am confident that these two products will solve the mentioned problems permanently. If you have any more questions Darcie, please do ask.

Sincerely

Imran Rajan

Answer
Ahh Yes!...

Equate!  These are some of the worst available!

They even add Aspartame to a lot of their Children's Products. And this synthetic sweetener is as Toxic, as Splenda. {Sucralose}

I would stay far from these.  A good Natural Vitamin Formula should not cost more than $30-35 USD.

I am in Canada, and order mine from the States as well.
So that is around the price i pay.

Take Care Darcie...
