Question Dear whoever,
When you get your hermit crab a new shell,how long will it take him to switch shells.....i'm worried that my shell is too big!!!!!!!!

Answer There should be 3-4 shells per crab to choose from. Have ones with different size openings, so they can choose the one that they prefer. There is no set time that they will change shells. Some species are more stubborn then others at changing shells. You could rotate new shells in every week or so and that will make them want to explore the new shells.
