Question Hi!
I am having my IGCSE mock exams this year, April, and I'm practising really
hard. So far, 1 language English and English literature seems to be the only
one I can manage, and a bit of Geography. But I have a real problem with
History, I just can't seem to remember all the dates from the 1. WW! Do you
have any suggestions, tips, anything regarding how I can get these dates to
stick? I tend to read Chemistry and Biology, without really understanding what
it is all about. I really do not care about the structure of atoms, at all, so it
won't stick either. Any suggestions there?
Thanks!
Anna
Answer I have a hard time with History as well! What I do for memorization is to make note cards with all of the information you need. For example: get a note card and on the front write the date, and on the back write the events that happened on that date and look it over for about 15 minutes a night up until the exam. I guarentee if you start looking this information over, you will have an extremely easy time with the exam! Good luck!
